Packing a First Aid Kit for your Pet

By April 23, 2021 No Comments

When traveling with your pet you should consider having a first aid kit on hand. Important items to keep in your first aid kit include:

  • A list of the local veterinary clinics and emergency clinics in the area
  • Your pet’s medication
  • Bandage material (including cotton pads, gauze, tape and scissors)
  • Saline solution for flushing eyes or wounds
  • Antihistamines (like Benadryl) – ask us for the correct dose
  • Tick Twister tool or tweezers for removing attached ticks
  • “Skunk Off” Shampoo
  • Antiseptic Soap and Polysporin Ointment for cuts/abrasions

Stop by the clinic to say hello and pick up a complimentary Bravecto hard case to pack your pet’s first aid kit (while supplies last).
