Cryotherapy

By April 23, 2021 No Comments

Cryotherapy involves the application of a freezing agent (Nitrous Oxide – N2O) to remove superficial benign skin lesions such as skin tags and warty growths.

We are excited to announce that we are now able to offer cryotherapy treatment to our dog and cat patients. With our new Cryoprobe, a pen-like medical device, a precise amount of liquid N20 is used to remove unwanted skin lesions by freezing the tissue.

Freezing tissue with the Cryoprobe is faster, safer and less expensive than traditional surgery plus there is no bleeding, sutures, hospital stays, or any need to wear a plastic cone after treatment.
