We have recently added another anesthetic monitor to our operating room called a Capnograph. This machine monitors and reports the concentration of a pet’s exhaled and inhaled CO2 gas while under general anesthesia for a surgical procedure.
Capnography significantly increases anesthesia safety levels. It provides a reliable and early alert for breathing problems that can adversely affect a patient’s health and allow us to intervene promptly.
